Q. How can I get a SHIP ID card?

A.  Soon after you enroll in the SHIP, an ID card will be sent to the local address you have on file with the University Registrar’s Office. If you lose your card or do not receive one, you can request a new one by contacting:

  • the Cornell Office of Student Health Insurance: 607 255-6363; or
  • Aetna Student Health, provider of the SHIP at 800 859-8475

Should you need to fill a prescription or see a provider outside Gannett prior to receiving your ID card, you can obtain a temporary card from our office or print one here:
