Enrollment/Waiver Process
This site provides detailed information about the enrollment/waiver process for undergrads,
grads, and professional students. Review the TOP NAVIGATION (the red bar) on this page and click on student group to which you belong.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Every year, every undergraduate must enroll in or waive the Student Health Insurance
Plan (SHIP). Please review information about Cornell's health insurance requirements, the SHIP, and the enrollment/waiver
process. When you are ready to make a decision, go to the Aetna Student Health
website to complete an enrollment or waiver application.

GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS
At the end of July, you will receive at your home mailing address, information
about the Student Health Insurance Plan SHIP and the appeal process. Please contact
us if you have questions.

EARLY GRADUATION OPTION
Early Graduation Option applications will be available (beginning December 1, 2009) for students who have completed all requirements to graduate in December 2009 / January 2010.

Rates for New Entering Spring Students (Effective January 20, 2010 through August 16, 2010)
- SHIP Premium: $1060
- Optional Dental Premium: $181
- Optional Vision Premium: $96
